The Golden/Lab cross often referred to as Goldadors or Golden Labs is nothing less than amazing—outstanding temperaments. Ours - “English Cream Golden Retriever and English White/Yellow Labrador look just like white Labs (short hair as well), but with a softer disposition. They are extremely intelligent, attentive, social, active, loyal, and very "soulful" dogs that are very in tune with their humans.
Due to these attributes, they are often used in a variety of therapy and service work. In fact, The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association states that the Goldador is their most successful guide dog out of all the breeds in their program. The Goldador was first created over a decade ago in a bid to create a sensitive and tolerant working dog. The mixing of the Golden Retriever and Labrador Retriever was so successful that organizations that train guide and assistance dogs frequently use these crosses today.
It is very rare to see a combination with the lineage our babies derive from, all of the health testing, registration with at least a three-generation pedigree, and the extensive English champion lines.
