We take immense pride in our longstanding commitment to breeding top-notch Labradors, a tradition that spans nearly five decades. Central to our ethos is the belief that our dogs are an integral part of our family and as such, they are not kept in kennels solely for the purpose of breeding. Instead, they enjoy a well-deserved retirement once their breeding days draw to a close, a distinction that sets us apart from other breeders.

Despite maintaining a small-scale breeding program, we hold ourselves to the highest standards. Our dogs undergo comprehensive DNA testing to mitigate the risk of transmitting prevalent breed-specific diseases. Over the years, we have painstakingly chosen and refined pedigree lines to ensure superior health, temperament, and capabilities in our beloved Labradors.

We firmly believe that quality should always take precedence over quantity. Every puppy we breed is meticulously matched with a caring forever home. We utilize aptitude testing as a method for assessing each puppy’s authentic temperament and capabilities to ensure they are the right fit for their new families…yet another reflection of our unwavering dedication to surpassing expectations through exceptional genetics and temperament in our dogs.

Our Mission

We firmly believe that dogs are integral parts of a family. We recognize that when you make the decision to bring a lovable puppy into your home, you are embracing the arrival of a cherished new family member; one who will bring joy, companionship, and lifelong memories to your household.

With 45 years of experience, my husband and I are dedicated Labrador Retriever enthusiasts. We've had the pleasure of being involved with this wonderful breed in conformation shows, field work, and family life. Now retired, we cherish the opportunity to spend our days with our beloved furry companions. As selective breeders, we take pride in producing only a few litters per year, focusing exclusively on quality, health, and temperament. It's a joy to raise these sweet, intelligent dogs that bring so much happiness to families. We take pride in producing healthy, well-bred puppies from extensively tested and cleared parents. Our dogs come from champion bloodlines with generations of proven working ability and conformation excellence. Born and raised underfoot in our home, our puppies benefit from constant human interaction, ensuring they mature into well-adjusted, biddable companions. With up to seven health clearances from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, we strive to produce sound, long-lived dogs of impeccable quality. We are between two homes, one located near the Black Hills of South Dakota and the other in southeastern Colorado. We are happy to personally hand deliver our babies near these areas, however, for the well-being of the babies—we do NOT ship!

Our precious lines have continued on for many generations made possible by our human family of three generations now! Part of the same family, we are proud to share over 80 years combined experience raising Labradors! We are ultimately four separate households that each average a couple litters a year from the same lines that have been established for close to 20 years! This offers the opportunity for us to hand deliver our puppies near south western South Dakota, eastern Wyoming, and in Colorado from Fort Collins to Pueblo-- while also offering the opportunity to visit family more! We all network together and refer to and from each other, as well as share our original family FB page of our fur babies that began about 15 years ago that contains, testimonials, pictures, postings, etc. over the years.

Happiness is a warm puppy.

Thanks to our uncompromising commitment to excellence in every aspect of our breeding program, we produce puppies that our unparalleled in quality.

Our puppies receive the utmost care and attention from their very first days.

The moment our puppies enter the world, they begin receiving gentle human interaction to foster socialization. Our family delicately handles and pets each pup multiple times per day, accustoming them to positive touch. We carefully expose the pups to various sights, sounds, and experiences during their formative weeks, allowing them to encounter stimuli in a measured, controlled way. This early enrichment helps build their confidence, adaptability, and readiness to transition smoothly into their forever homes as well-rounded canine companions. Throughout the process, we remain committed to using only positive, reward-based methods to nurture our puppies' development in a caring, sheltered environment.

From three to sixteen days old, the puppies receive Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) - a process that gently exposes them to mild stressors. Studies show this helps puppies develop resilience and an ability to handle stress as adult dogs.

As the puppies grow, their socialization continues. They interact with other dogs, cats, and children to ensure they become well-adjusted canine citizens. We go above and beyond to deliver not only genetically sound puppies, but also puppies who are exceptionally well socialized. Our comprehensive early socialization program sets the stage for a happy, confident companion who is ready to become a beloved member of your family.
